The July issue of Shueisha's Jump Squaremagazine is announcing on Wednesday that an anime project of Yasuhiro Nightow's Blood Blockade Battlefront (Kekkai Sensen) is launching.

A breach between Earth and the netherworlds has opened up over the city of New York, trapping New Yorkers and creatures from other dimensions in an impenetrable bubble. 'Strike the Blood' Vampire Novels by Asura Cryin's Mikumo Gets Anime
Dantalian author pens story of boy in powerful vampire clan and girl hunter
The "Game no Dengeki Kanshasai 2013 & Dengeki Bunko: Haru no Saiten 2013" event announced on Sunday that an anime adaptation of Gakuto Mikumo's Strike the Blood light novel series has been green-lit. The event also announced that the Golden Time light novel series was also getting an anime adaptation.
The school action fantasy story of Strike the Blood revolves around Kojō Akatsuki, a boy in the world's most powerful vampire clan (once thought to only exist in legend and lore), and Yukina Hirameki, a girl entrusted with the mission of watching over and wiping out this clan.
Mikumo launched the novel series in 2011, and ASCII Media Works released the sixth volume last month. Manyako illustrated the novel volumes, and TATE has been serializing a manga adaptation in ASCII Media Works' Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh magazine since last August. Mikumo's Asura Cryin' and The Mystic Archives of Dantalian light novels also inspired anime.
