Ubisoft gave visitors to last year's Tokyo Game Show a glimpse at a next-gen action title it referred to as Project Assassins. The project has a new name and details today, as the publisher announced that it is bringing Assassin's Creed to the PlayStation 3.

Set in 1191 AD at the height of the Third Crusade for the Holy Land, Assassin's Creed puts players in the silent shoes of Altair and gives them the opportunity "to shape events during this pivotal moment in history." Altair is presumably a member of a group of ruthless assassins whose plan is to bring an end to the bitter struggle by striking out at both warring parties.

The game is being developed by Ubisoft's Montreal studio (creators of hits like Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell and Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time), and Ubisoft is making some big promises for the project.

Version collector of Assassin' s Creed

The site of sale in Play-asia line seems to know what will contain the version collector of Assassin' S Creed by posting one limps which should contain a figurine of the game. The product is announced for Mars 2007.

ja vi todos os filmes que existem do jogo...

Tenho pena e de apenas descobrir este topico aqui...

Este jogo vai ser o primeiro que eu vou comprar quando tiver PS3, o jogo e fenomenal retrata a historia de uma organizaçao de assassinos (em termos de historia, os 1ºs assassinos foram Persas) que tem a missão de eliminar elementos de poder dos cruzados e se calhar muçulmanos...

O motor de jogo vai ser 5x melhor ke God Of War (que acho bastante bom).

E para acabr em grande adoro a lamina que ele esconde no braço, promenor fenomenal

Pessoalmente creio que os Assassinos existem desde a idade da pedra.. mas pronto. xD

Quanto ao jogo, já há muito tempo que vi o trailer e simplesmente adoro. Uma compra assegurada, assim que tiver a eggsbox, claro.
