Hi☆sCoool! SeHa Girl
Sega Hard Girls CG TV Anime's High School Story, Staff, Date Unveiled
Hi☆sCoool! SeHa Girl turns Sega game hardware into beautiful girls in October
Sega announced on Tuesday the details of Hi☆sCoool! SeHa Girl (Hi☆sCoool! Sega Hard Girl), the television anime of the Sega Hard Girls project which anthropomorphizes Sega game hardware into 17 beautiful girls.
The story of the anime will revolve around Dreamcast, Sega Saturn, and Mega Drive, who have just enrolled in SeHaGaga Academy at Tokyo's Haneda Ōtorii station. They are given an assignment needed to graduate by a suspicious teacher, and to clear this assignment, the girls need to enter the world of Sega games. The girls must try their best to graduate without incident.
Hatsune Miku designer KEI created the original girl designs that inspired this anime. The series is being animated in CG at TMS Entertainment and Jinnis, with Sōta Sugahara (gdgd Fairies character design, animation director) directing the project off scripts written by himself and Masayuki Kibe. The production uses the MikuMikuDance software that has also been used for Minarai Diva, Tesagure! Bukatsu-mono, and KEI's Straight Title Robot Anime. Sōta Sugahara and Kio designed the CG characters, and Shigeyuki Watanabe serves as CG director.
The remaining staff includes:
Original work, supervision: Sega
Miku Miku Dance Director: Ponpoko P (6DAnimation)
CG Backgrounds: Fireball
The three cast members confirmed for the anime are:
Dreamcast (M.A.O) Sega Saturn (Minami Takahashi)
Mega Drive (Shiori Izawa)
The anime will premiere in October.
The project already inspired a novel series in Kadokawa's Dengeki Bunko Magazine last year. The novel re-imagines the various Sega game systems as goddesses who appear all over modern Japan.

Go! Go! 575
Sega's Project 575 Gets Go! Go! 575 TV Anime in January
Oreimo's Kanzaki designs characters voiced by Yuka Ōtsubo, Ayaka Ohashi for singing haiku-like songs
Sega announced on Friday that its television anime Go! Go! 575 will premiere this coming January. The anime ties into Project 575, which lets anyone create songs using the traditional Japanese 5-7-5-syllable meter
found in haiku and tanka poems.
The tie-in game takes the songs the players create syllable-by-syllable and performs them with Vocaloid voices provided by the high school girl characters Azuki (literally, "red bean") Masaoka (played by Yuka Ōtsubo) and Maccha ("green tea") Kobayashi (Ayaka Ohashi). Hiro Kanzaki (Oreimo) designed the characters.
The Utagumi 575 app is already available for iOS, and the game will arrive on PS Vita on January 23 for 7,350 yen (about US$75). AnUtagumi 575: 575 Hatodera Joshi Gakuen Nyūgaku Premium Pack (Utagumi 575: 575 Hatodera Girls' Academy Enrollment Premium Pack) will cost 9,500 yen (US$96).
The anime's website noted that "we have no sponsors, so we made this out of own pockets."
