Formato: Light Novel(?), Manga/Anime Script
Géneros: Comédia, Ecchi, Escola, Romance(?), Drama(?), Slice-of-Life

Fight 01 - The Beginning of a New School Year

PARTE 1

Japan, during the early 90s, in a small city...

Two birds chirping on a sakura [cherry blossom] tree in bloom. It is spring and some sakura petals are fluttering. As a new school year begins, a new story will unfold. Tarou's and Sachiko's exciting and lively school times, times of youth. There is a lot of chatter next to the bulletin boards that are on display in the school's courtyard. These are announcing the new classes. Students want to see in which class they are in and want to know if they are still together with their friends. So there is a lot of noise, some students are complaining, others are crying with sadness, and others are jumping with joy. Sachiko is trying to see where her name is. Her two best friends are right behind her, but they can't see the lists very well from the back, so Sachiko is reading it for them.

Sachiko: Let's see... Where? Where are we? Hmmm... found it! I'm in class 8-2. Ah! You two are also in the same class! Yay!

Sachiko and her friends are very happy.

Aoi: Yes, this is great! - She says while she jumps in joy.

Nanako: How wonderful, I'm so relieved... - She says quietly with tears of joy in the corners of her eyes.

Aoi grabs Nanako's hands and jumps up and down.

Aoi: Come on, don't cry Nana-chan.

Sachiko: Geh!?

Aoi: What is it Sacchan?

Nanako: Is something wrong, Sacchan?

Sachiko: Oh bummer. Aoi-chan, Nana-chan, Sawada Tarou and his group are with us... - She says disappointedly.

Aoi: Eehh?? What a pain!! We have to put up with those idiots for another year?

Nanako: Oh no...

Sachiko: This is the worst!

Aoi: You tell me!

Nanako: Will it be the same this year again?

Sachiko: Who knows...?

Aoi: I bet it will be even worse. Ne [Hey], Sacchan, you and Tarou-kun are classmates since 1st grade, aren't you?

Sachiko: Unfortunately, yes, that's the case.

Aoi: When we met in the 7th grade things were already like that with that idiot Tarou-kun, weren't they?

Nanako: Ah, they were, they were!

Sachiko: I guess so...

Aoi: I don't know why I never asked you, but what happened between you two for things to have become so hostile?

Sachiko: Like I know! Hmm... I can't remember why or even when this all started. But I'm sure it's all Sawada-san's fault! Why don't you go ask him?

Aoi: Well, the reason is probably because he was born with monkey genes.

Sachiko: That's right, isn't it?

Sachiko + Aoi + Nanako: Ha, ha, ha, ha!

Nanako: Totally. But will those stupid challenges continue?

Aoi: Why do you always play along with his provocations, Sacchan?

Sachiko: He just annoys me sooo much! There's just no way I'm gonna lose to someone like that!

Aoi: A-ah, I still remember the crazy events of last year's cultural festival. Those silly things we all had to do to attract costumers...

Nanako: All because Sawada-san and half of the class wanted to do a yakisoba [fried noodles] stand and the other half a café. So it became a very strange yakisoba café. But in the end they managed to sell more than us...

Sachiko: And all the competition to get the better grades on tests... I had to study really hard! Well, but at least I improved my grades and got in the top 5 of the class.

Aoi: And the sport fest! Do you remember?

Nanako: *Giku* [gulp / shock]!

Aoi: Ah, Nana-chan is still traumatized with it!

Nanako: Why did I have to get on the white team with them? - She complains trembling.

In their school there are 3 teams: white, red and blue. This is to avoid having to many teams and contestants participating at the same time. Also, since there are 4 classes per year, to keep things evenly matched, each year is separated equally through the three teams by lottery. The school thinks this serves as chance for students to make new friends outside their own class. Furthermore, this way the school avoids big rivalries and so weaker students are less likely to be bullied by their classmates for weak performances. Even so, it seems Tarou bullied Nanako.

Sachiko: I can't believe that after they lost, Sawada-san put the blame on Nana-chan like that! Saying she did it on purpose when she obviously did her best... Mon [pronounced sigh or similar to say honestly]!

Aoi: Yeah, it's not Nana-chan's fault that she's clumsy at P.E.! And for a moment I thought he was really going to hit her too.

Nanako: Uuuu...

Sachiko: And she got so scared she skipped school for the next two days. Unforgivable!!

Nanako: Uuuu... I don't want to remember that!

*************

Going back in time a little bit, Tarou is riding his bike without a care in the world. He enters the school and parks his bicycle on the designated area for them. He then heads to the place where the bulletin boards are.

Tarou: Ah-ah-atchoo! - Tarou sneezes.

Tarou: (Someone's talking about me? Well, whatever. Let me go check which class I'm in.)

Sachiko: And she got so scared she skipped school for the next two days. Unforgivable!!

Nanako: Uuuu... I don't want to remember that!

Tarou: Hey, you three stooge girls over there. Move your big heads! I can't see a thing!

Aoi: Ah, here he is... Let's go.

Sachiko: Yeah, before we catch a strange disease.

Tarou: Good. Shoo, shoo!

Sachiko: Bee da [sound one makes while sticking the tongue out].

Aoi: Ignore, ignore.

The three girls leave the place.

Tarou: Let's see, let's see. Sawada Tarou, Sawada Tarou... Gaahhhh, I can't find my name, why are there so many stupid names on the list?

Two boys come near Tarou.

Kenji: Takkun? Is that you?

Tarou: Oh Kenji-kun, Ichitaka-kun. What's up?

Ichitaka: Hey there!

Kenji: Hey Takkun, guess what? We are all on the same class. 8-2.

Tarou: 8-2? Let's see. Ah, you're right!

Kenji: Of course I am! We checked it just a little while ago.

Tarou: Geh! This is bad. The worst!

Kenji: Um! Um! I know what you mean, mate. Our homeroom teacher is going to be Hirota-sensei. As if English classes with him weren't enough already...

Tarou: Ehh? He is? Damn! What bad luck, this year is already ruined.

Ichitaka: You bet!

Tarou: But I was talking about Yamada-san. She's with us... - He says disappointedly.

Ichitaka: What? Sacchan is with us?

Kenji: Naaannniii [Whaaatttt]?

Tarou: She and her group! How annoying...

Tarou + Kenji + Ichitaka: What a pain!

Ichitaka: Oh, we better hurry. The entrance ceremony is beginning.

*************

All students are seated and the Principal is doing a long and boring speech. Everyone is bored as hell.

Principal: So that you can learn about the importance of ethical values and...

The girls are whispering.

Aoi: But why is he called "Usotsuki no Tarou [Tarou the Liar]"?

Sachiko: Beats me...

Nanako: Because he lies, no?

Sachiko: Hmmm... I don't have him as a liar though...

Principal: And with these values as pillars for your future, I want you to grow up...

In the other row, two chairs behind the girls, the boys are whispering too.

Tarou: Booorinnng...

Ichitaka: Shh... Hirota-sensei is looking this way. We'll get in trouble if he catches us speaking.

Principal: ... and when you all became respectable persons and enter society...

Tarou is looking at Sachiko. Then he faces his friends.

Tarou: Ano sa [you see]? I just got an idea! - He whispers.

Kenji: What? What?

Tarou: On the class rep election, let's all vote for Yamada-san. He, he, he!

Ichitaka: What do you mean?

Tarou: Isn't it being class rep a pain? Like writing reports and meetings? Let's arrange things so she gets elected!

Kenji: Oh, great idea! Let's ask the other guys to vote for her too.

Tarou + Kenji + Ichitaka: He, he, he!

Tarou: I can't wait to see her face. I'm going to make so much fun of her.

Ichitaka: This is bad guys! Hirota-sensei is coming this way.

Tarou + Kenji + Ichitaka: *Giku* [gulp / shock]!

Hirota-sensei: You guys, after this is over, you're coming with me. - He whispers calmly but firmly, not to disrupt the principal's speech.

Tarou + Kenji + Ichitaka: Haaiiii [Okaaayyy]...

Hirota-sensei goes back to his original position.

Ichitaka: We're in trouble now.

Principal: ...and if the muffin tastes bad, you'll know how to act accordingly to society standards...

Tarou: Just what the hell is the principal talking about?

*************

Tarou: Ugghh... it's finally done...

Kenji: I can't believe we had to put all those chairs back on the classrooms by ourselves.

Ichitaka: It's all Takkun's fault. I told you to keep quiet didn't I?

Tarou: Shut up! We were all talking. And it's that devil Hirota-sensei's fault.

Ichitaka: Hey, shhh! Somehow I have the feeling he may appear when we say bad things about him.

Tarou: But in the very end this is all Yamada-san's fault! I knew it was bad luck to be in the same class as her.

Kenji: We had to do about 50 trips to the classrooms while carrying two chairs at the same time. Man, I'm dying...

[Shiratori comments: There are 4 classes per year with about 25 students per class. So 4 classes x 3 years x 25 students = +/- 300 students. So 300 chairs / 3 persons / 2 chairs per trip = +/-50 trips from the gym to the main building, and some chairs needed to be taken to the 3rd floor. It was hard work, I tell you!]

*************

PARTE 2

The next day, in the classroom...

Hirota-sensei: So we are doing a lottery to decide on the seat assignment.

Class: Hai [Okay]!

Everyone goes to the teacher's desk and draws a piece of paper from a bag.

Sachiko: Alright, I got number 13. So I guess I'm right in the middle of the room...

Tarou: YES! I got number 4!!

Kenji: You sure are happy, Takkun.

Tarou: Hu, hu, hu [proud laugh], but of course, I got the main character's seat!

Aoi: Main character seat? What's that? - Aoi who is near him joins the conversation.

Tarou: Almost all manga main characters sit in the back by the window. This proves I'm the main character!

Almost all girls and some boys sigh, shake their heads or put their palms in front their faces. Of course, Aoi and Sachiko are included.

Aoi: His stupidity never stops amazing me...

Sachiko: So childish...

Tarou: Jealousy, just burn with jealousy!

Sachiko: I'm just glad I didn't get a seat near him...

Tarou: Hey, those are my words exactly.

Tarou + Sachiko: What a relief.

Hirota-sensei: Keep it down, the lesson is starting.

*************

A day later, during a short break between classes, the students are being noisy as usual. Every group is talking about different things, oblivious to others. Tarou is speaking in a rather low voice to one of his male classmates.

Tarou: So, in tomorrow's class-rep election, everyone is going to vote for Yamada-san and...

Male Student 1: Vote for Yamada-san? Hey, by any chance, are you doing your wife's election campaign?

Tarou: Idiot!! Shhh, not so loud! The girls are gonna hear us. She's not my wife!! How could that be?! It's to give her a tedious task. Like a punishment, you see?

Male Student 1: Not your wife you say? Punishment? Coming from "Usotsuki no Tarou" [Tarou the Liar] it's not very convincing...

Tarou: Hey, I'm not a liar! I never lie!

Male Student 1: There you go lying again!

The boy turns to the rest of his classmates.

Male Student 1: Hey, minna-san [everyone]! Listen to this!

Tarou: BAKA [iDIOT]!! STOP IT!

Male Student 1: Tarou here is doing his wife's election campaign! - Everyone turns their heads in his direction.

Tarou: SHUT UUUUUPPPPPP!

Male Student 1: He wants us to vote for Yamada-san.

Classmates: HA, HA, HA, HA!!!!

Almost all the class is laughing really hard, with the exception of a few girls, of course including Sachiko and her friends, who are hit by surprised. Tarou is red as a tomato. Sachiko is blushing too.

Classmates: HA, HA, HA, HA!!!!

Sachiko: (His wife???) Wait a minute, minna-san!

Classmates: Ha, ha, ha!!

Aoi: What the hell is this supposed to mean?

Sachiko hits her table and the laugh dies down.

Sachiko: So you were plotting to make me class-rep behind my back, Sawada-san?

Tarou: *Giku*! I don't know what you guys are talking about... - He scratches his face.

Kenji: Yeah, what could they be talking about, I wonder...

Aoi: YOU! Hey minna-san, let's vote for Takkun instead!

Female Student 1: Yes, let's do that!

Female Student 2: Yeah, good idea!

Tarou: Wait! No! This is some kind of misunderstanding!

The class turns into a big ruckus. They are divided in which one to vote. Students are taking sides and discussing why they should vote on Sachiko or Tarou.

Sachiko: (This is bad. I have a bad feeling...)

Tarou: (How did this turn out this way???)

*************

Next day, as homeroom teacher Hirota-sensei is writing the results of the election on the blackboard, he is also reading them out loud. After marking the last vote he announces the results.

Hirota-sensei: So we have, Sawada-san, 9 votes. Yamada-san, with a total of... 9 votes? And Miyazaki-san, 2 votes.

Hirota-sensei: How did this happen? And I thought Miyazaki-san was the ideal choice. What were you guys thinking?

As Hirota-sensei said, Miyazaki Chizuru would have probably won the election by far, if this confusion between Tarou and Sachiko had never happened. She was class-rep last year too. Deep down, Chizuru is a bit disappointed with the results of the election.

Miyazaki Chizuru: (I can't believe I lost by such a wide margin... Was I such a bad class rep last year?)

Hirota-sensei: So, we have a draw now... What a pain.

Male Student 1: We should vote again, but only on the two winner candidates this time.

Hirota-sensei: We don't have all day, make it quick then!

A new election is done. On the blackboard it's written:

Sawada-san - IIII IIII (10)

Yamada-san - IIII IIII (10)

Hirota-sensei: Are you kidding me? Well, I guess I will have the last say in this matter. I think Yamada-san is a better choice, so...

Class: EEEHHH? *BLAH, BLAH*...

The class is divided again. Some students are complaining and others are approving of the teacher's decision.

Hirota-sensei: EVERYONE BE QUIET!!! I can't understand if everyone is talking at the same time. If anyone has anything to say, raise your hand first!

Sachiko, fast as lightning, raises her hand.

Hirota-sensei: What is it, Yamada-san?

Sachiko stands up.

Sachiko: Since I'm on the volleyball club, I may not have enough time to preform my duties as class representative. And given that Sawada-san is not in any club, I think he should be the one to get the position.

Class: YES, THAT'S RIGHT! / NO, WHAT A LAME EXCUSE!

Hirota-sensei: QUIET! Hmm, Yamada-san has a good point.

Tarou: Sensei! - Tarou raises his hand at the same time he calls the teacher.

Hirota-sensei: Yes?

Tarou stands up.

Tarou: Didn't you just say Yamada-san was a better choice? Besides, since we are talking about clubs, I am going to enroll in the soccer club.

Class: THAT'S A LIE! / USOTSUKI NO TAROU! / LIAR!

Tarou: SHUT UP, I'm not lying! I'm planning to send the enrollment form this afternoon.

Hirota-sensei: Is that so? Then, it's decided. Sawada-san is vice class rep and Yamada-san is class rep.

As the class is starting to go rampant again...

Hirota-sensei: SHUT UP! No more buts! The lesson is starting now.

Aoi: Be warned, I'll make sure you will really enroll a club Takkun! - She whispers to Tarou.

Sachiko: Ha! Ha-ha-ha... - Sachiko is brokenly laughing in desperation.

Hirota-sensei: Hey! The lesson is starting now. I'll seriously punish the next person who says something.

*************

At the end of the school day, Sachiko and Aoi are near Tarou's desk.

Aoi: Hey, now sign it! Hurry!

Tarou: Shut up. I'm hurrying.

Aoi: You were not planning to enroll at all, were you?

Tarou: ... (Of course I wasn't! What a pain...)

Sachiko: Ok, now let's go see you handing it to the soccer club president.

Sachiko, Aoi and Tarou walk silently on the corridor. Almost everyone else had gone home by now, including Tarou's friends and Nanako. Only a few students who are on club activities are still in the school.

Sachiko: A-ahh, everyone's home already...

Aoi: Hurry up Takkun.

They arrived at the soccer field and Sachiko and Aoi see Tarou speaking to the soccer club president from a distance. Tarou hands over his registration form to the president and then he comes back.

Tarou: Done, I'm going home now.

Sachiko: You better not quit now!

Aoi: Yeah, and becoming a ghost member is not allowed too!

Sachiko: I just hope you get severe muscle aches, you lazy idiot.

Tarou: Shut up! A-ahh, this sucks...

Sachiko: And even if you are vice class rep, we're going to divide the tasks. We take turns at writing the daily class report and attending meetings. If you slack off, I'll tell Hirota-sensei and you can expect a harsh punishment. Do you understand?

Sachiko looks at Tarou. He's picking on his nose.

Sachiko: DON'T PICK YOUR NOSE! Ewwww, disgusting... were you even listening to what I was saying?

Tarou: I was. A-ahh, this sucks big time. Less time to play... - He throws a booger.

Sachiko: I can say the same thing!

They glare and then they point their finger at each other.

Sachiko + Tarou: THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!

They turn their backs in anger. Tarou goes to where he parked his bike and Sachiko goes in the school gate's direction. And so, starts Sachiko's and Tarou's story.

To be continued...

Estive a ler o primeiro capítulo.

Já coloquei o capítulo 3 online. But nobody cares, right? :(

Esqueci-me de dizer algo importantíssimo: a Light Novel contém homens nus e mulheres nuas. :D

No one cares?

No próximo capítulo algo fica diferente.

- Professor Caramba

- Barraca Abana

- Júlia Pinhão

- Luizão Gouxa

- Ursinho fofinho e risonho chamado urso pedo

- Jiraia

- Shiratori

:D:P:D:P:D

Estou a pensar começar a recrutar sim.

Som: Piririri, Piririri [alarme do despertador a tocar]

E desta vez, ela cospe a água toda outra vez contra o espelho.

Sachiko: *Tosse, tosse* Mon, onii-chan!

      Yuuji: …sexo contigo… Ah, ela fugiu e ignorou-me completamente!

      PARTE I – Rivalidade Mútua
