Samurai Warriors/Sengoku Musou Gets TV Anime Series in January
 
KOEI Tecmo announced during its Sengoku Musou Chronicle 3 completion event on Wednesday that a television anime series of the Samurai Warriors (Sengoku Musou) game franchise will premiere next January. The series will run on the TV Tokyo, TV Osaka, TV Aichi, and BS Japan channels. The story will center around Toyotomi versus Tokugawa.
The franchise already inspired the Sengoku Musou SP: Sanada no Shoutelevision anime special this past March.
 
Sinopse
 
The key phrase of the anime's story is: "What are you fighting for?" The story takes place in Japan's tumultuous Sengoku era, where violent battles are being raged across the country. The "passionate and painful" story follows the "troubled fate" of the Sanada brothers, who have sworn an oath that no matter what, they will fight to the bitter end together.
Toyotomi Hideyoshi is on the verge of unifying the realm, and all that remains is the Odawara Castle protected by the "Lion of Sagami" Ujiyasu Hōjō. Hideyoshi's personally trained generals — Ishida Mitsunari, Katō Kiyomasa, and Fukushima Masanori — as well as Ōtani Yoshitsugu, Shima Sakon, and Naoe Kanetsugu are all on the frontline of the battle. Amidst the battle formation are the two young warriors of the Sanada household: older brother Nobuyuki and younger brother Yukimura. As the stalemate begins to break down, Sanada Yukimura rides on a lone horse into the fray. His brother follows him right after.

O mais incomodado do grupo de quarenta e sete samurais é Kai (Keanu Reeves), que passa a ser questionado pelo grupo após se apaixonar por Mika (Kô Shibazaki), a filha do mestre morto.   

Noitamina Reveals Samurai Flamenco Hero Anime

Fuji TV announced during its Noitamina presentation on Friday that it will air the original television anime Samurai Flamenco. The anime's taglines read, “To those 'adults' who don't want to become adults...” and "Hero will never give up, never hide, never be defeated, never accept evil." The anime is scheduled to air half a year or two cours (kūru) in the late-night Noitamina programming block, and will premiere in October. 
 
Takahiro Omori (Natsume's Book of Friends, Baccano!, Princess Jellyfish) is directing the anime, while Chinatsu Kurahana (Uta no Prince-sama - Maji Love 1000%, Aquarion Evol original character designs) is designing the characters.

Aqui há muitos anos eu reparei numa grande lacuna ao nível da arte em Portugal e no mundo: a inexistência de um subgénero de poesia que girasse em torno de samurais e do espírito samurai. Tá bem que no Japão é capaz de ter havido, mas para mim o Japão é tão longe que já não fica no mundo.
Para combater esta lacuna, decidi fazer uma pausa de matar maus, e criar eu mesmo este estilo tão particular, com uma mão-cheia de poemas que capturassem a essência de se ser Samurai. Hoje venho aqui partilhá-los convosco na esperança de difundir esta corrente e sensibilizar o mundo para esta raça de pessoas tão cheia de honra e de bons valores que foram os Samurais. Por oposição à podridão e decadência da sociedade em que vivemos. O meu segundo objectivo é que as pessoas, transformadas pelos poemas, saiam à rua de katana na mão para combater a crise.
